Frauds as you know are so real in the world today and almost everywhere you turn there is the risk of running into it either directly or indirectly. I am also sure that you have heard institutions, organizations, and others that have gone down as a result of fraudulent affairs. Well, that serves to make you understand that its real but the worst thing is when you become a victim a scam. The internet is full of scams and here are some tips on spotting internet marketing scams.
The Internet Mine Field
Since you need the internet to become part of the main platform for doing business to increase your sales as you also seek to be I tandem with demand of various customers in the current day, it is important to beware of this. They say that what you fear most will catch up with you and if you thought that fraud has not found its way to the internet then, you are totally wrong. Many of you have probably even been duped.
It presents itself in the form of online scams and if this was part of what you have feared for some time, then your fears have been confirmed. Scams are real on the internet. You do not want to fall into any of these because it can be quite catastrophic. Mostly, you will be presented with a deal that is simply irresistible and the target in this case will be fear and greed.
These are the two factors that tend to lure people into unforeseen traps of such scams which you can easily fall for if you are not careful enough. Many have fallen into this trap either because they were not aware that such a thing exists online or because they were naïve about the issue altogether. You should never go into online business with such an assumption, it will mess you up. Do your research first.
The question you must be asking yourself right now is how to safeguard yourself from such scams that can contribute to the downfall of your online business. Well, I just happen to have the right answer to that particular question. Below I have outlined some of the common scams and tricks they play.
Earning by Typing
Ever thought about how fast you can type and that by doing this job that appears to be as simple as the blinking of an eye, you can earn some good returns? This is how those who may be targeting you tend to pose the question and you don’t even have to think about it if you are not careful. You just go into it.
The catch though in this case is that you need to pay a fee upfront for you to access the opportunity. Once you hit send to deliver the cash, know with a certainty that you have been duped. Do not give this a chance because greed will only destroy you. I cannot think of one legitimate place to find jobs that asks you to pay to get access. Don’t get me wrong there are some that ask you to pay for premium services like “Ladders”, but they also offer a service that is free.
Furthermore, if you want to earn by typing why not freelance on places that are free to sign up for like UpWork or IWriter. I will do a post in the future about those, but at least it gets you pointed in the right direction.
Earning Through Crafts
You might have seen t those ads that ask you to model toys, dolls, crafts that are assembled or any other similar creations. Normally, they will go to the extent of providing the directions you will follow when doing the assembly and the parts you need to accomplish this task.
But before this can be done, you will need to pay a fee and once you submit your first finished project to your disappointment, the feedback will be that it does not make the cut. That will be it and your money will be gone. Never allow yourself to be enticed by such a scam, it is simply a hoax.
If you want to go that direction with crafts why not make them for yourself and sell them on eBay or at your local flee market.
Earning By Sending Mails or Chain Letters
This particular scam entails a list of names that will be sent to you and an email address that you are required to use to circulate mail to people in this list. Within this list there are those names that will require you to reply by sending some cash.
Those to receive the money are usually on top of the list and your name should be added at the bottom as you resend such mails. This is very risky because a worst case scenario could land you in jail by reason of taking part in the scam. Beware of this and do your best to keep from such.
These are just but a few and as you may have realized, all these scams claim that you can actually become rich within the shortest time possible which in real sense is a lie. It takes time to build a successful online business. Do clean business, do not be driven by greed and you will be all smiles as your business prospers. You can find out how to create a successful online business through my top recommendation or you can see all my recommendations here.
This was not meant to be an end all be all list. You could write a book about online scams. That being said, please feel free to leave a comment on other things you have seen. Please feel free to ask any questions and I will be happy to help.

Marquan,
It is easy to fall victim to these scams and more. The bottom line is just do some research. That is one of the reasons I made this website to help people avoid scams and make a legitimate online business.
Thanks for the comment.

Excellent comments about writing and typing. You should never pay someone to let you work for them. That’s sure to be a scam warning sign.
The methods of making money online that you mention can all be legitimate is some cases. The main problem is many of these jobs will pay so little that it’s almost like slave labor.
There are also companies where you can ghostwrite other people’s blog and web posts but again they don’t pay too well. You would have to type furiously seven hours a day without stopping in order to make a living.
There are some good online jobs but you need to do your research.
Thanks for Sharing.
